What led to the establishment of this program? What need was identified?
This program was developed at the request of advisors and their support people already implementing The Trusted Advisor Toolkit™. We noticed that, while the implementation of The Trusted Advisor Toolkit™ is presented in a very step-by-step (digestible) manner, for some support people the many “moving parts” need further clarification or the system appears overwhelming. We decided a weekly coaching program would allow the support team a way to ask questions and work-through obstacles as well as stay on-track in implementing as quickly as we ordinarily see (or faster). The sooner the system is fully in-place, the easier the preparation for client progress meetings will be, so this program is designed for support people to help implement their roles as quickly as possible (mindful that there are other priorities in the office to juggle).
Neither The Trusted Advisor Toolkit™ nor BAI has offered weekly coaching for the support team, so this fills a gap.
